At Torri Youth we create Youthwork opportunities for young people aged 10 to 17
to voluntarily choose to engage with staff.
We are a non religious group that run projects based at The Methodist church hall and have outreach workers running detached projects.
Our informal activities both on site and off site are planned to meet the young people’s needs & interests. We work with them,
to facilitate their personal, social & educational development and offer support & information .
We look to empower them & enable them to develop their voice and place within our
community.
Young people make decisions on the fundraising they do and choose the activities/ projects they want. We have our own accreditation award scheme that encourages young people to set personal goals and develop their skills.
Some of the activities/ projects we are doing or have done social action Get your Voice heard The Shelter project in collaboration and partnership with local authorities and The Police to build a community shelter in Calf street Park.
Let's go Barnstaple bowling trip. Christmas crafts wreath making Fundraising events sponsored bike ride , Bike it project, British sign language and communication, First Aid training, Surf session, Skern Lodge team building, graffiti workshop, Arts and Nature project , Laser Tag Survival,

We operate term time only
Friday nights 6pm to 8pm
We welcome new members and registration is easy with our online Google form just scan the QR code
